Why is the Dedupe and Match add-on not visible for a user in Apsona, even though they can access Apsona?

 This issue can occur even when the user has the correct base license and permissions in Apsona. In some cases, the Dedupe and Match add-on does not appear because a required field-level permission is missing.

The key setting to verify is the “Dedup Enabled” field on the Apsona Item object. If this field is not visible to the user, the Dedupe and Match menu item will not appear for them.

How to fix it:

  1. Go to Setup → Object Manager → Apsona Item → Fields & Relationships.

  2. Open the Dedup Enabled field.

  3. Click Set Field-Level Security.

  4. Ensure the field is marked Visible for the profile (or permission set) assigned to the user who needs access.

Even with correct licenses and general permissions, add-ons like Dedupe and Match may not appear if required fields are hidden by field-level security. Always check visibility of the Dedup Enabled field on the Apsona Item object when this add-on is missing
