Why can't I relate my imported records to a parent? Why am I getting an error when choosing a parent record during import?
When relating an imported record to a parent record, you must use a single unique identifier field from your source csv file which will be used to find the parent record. The best field to use is the parent record's Salesforce ID but any unique identifier or external id field can be used. See this article for more details. To find the fields eligible in the parent object, while in the mapping screen type the name of the parent object, followed by a colon. This will show any fields eligible to match against. NOTE: Do not map to multiple parent fields. Only use a single field for Apsona to match against.
