To associate a Salesforce Task with an Account, map the Account ID to the Related To (WhatId) field. This is the lookup field used to relate a Task to an Account or other supported Salesforce records.
The Name (WhoId) field is generally used to associate the Task with a Contact or Lead, rather than an Account.
When mapping Task records, verify that:
Related To ID (WhatId) → Account ID
Name ID (WhoId) → Contact or Lead ID, when applicable
Other Task fields such as Subject, Due Date, Status, and Assigned To are mapped to their corresponding Salesforce fields.
If the Account ID or Related To field is not available, verify that the required field is included in the source report/data and clear the Apsona cache if necessary.
Using Related To (WhatId) with the appropriate Account ID ensures that imported or merged Tasks are correctly associated with the intended Account.
