Currently, the Document Merge feature of the Merge product supports only two template sources: Salesforce Documents and Google Docs. This limitation prevents users from using Google Slides as a template for merge actions. Users who design templates such as certificates, event passes, or visually rich documents in Google Slides cannot use them in merge actions. Adding support for Google Slides URLs as a merge template source would expand flexibility and cover a wider set of real-world needs. Use Cases: Generate student participation or completion certificates designed in Google Slides. Design and merge employee recognition awards or badges. Automate workshop or webinar certificates where layouts are better suited for Slides.
