MSR step order makes it difficult to do exclusions. For example, I need an email list of alumni with certain criteria OR donors with other criteria OR contacts with certain volunteer positions, but the order of the steps dictate what is returned. I have to export the list in a broad format with fewer filters, sort by outputs to delete those I don't want, and then bring the contact IDs back into a report in order to add them to a campaign. Sometimes the IDs count is too large and I run into issues even doing this. Can there be exclusion steps that filter the whole report/all steps? Can there be an exclusions-type report of all contacts I don't want, and then merge that report with the main report to produce a final report of my main report minus the contacts in the exclusion report? Blackbaud RE Query did this, and it was very helpful when you're creating complicated lists that are touching many objects. Even just the ability to merge reports would be helpful, that way I could at least make separate reports of the different groups and merge them into 1 final report with columns my end users want to see.
