This work item addresses a recurring issue where generated merge documents fail to open in Microsoft Word, despite working in other applications, with the problem linked to specific content such as hyperlinks, emojis, or special characters. The issue was identified as related to hyperlinks, emojis, and special characters in the Word documents, causing errors when opening in MS Word but not in WPS Office.
