There is a known issue: https://issues.salesforce.com/issue/a028c00000yzmIkAAI/ in NPC ( Nonprofit Cloud ) where a dedupe of Person Accounts will fail because each Person Account has a Donor Gift Summary. The current workaround is to delete the Donor Gift Summary for the non master and let the Donor Gift Summary be updated on the master after the dedupe action.
