During document/email merge using Multi-Step Reports, conditional template selection currently supports only fields from the main report step.
However, many document generation use cases require the template to be selected dynamically based on a Field value in a sub-report (child step), for example, when multiple document variations must be generated depending on the type or status of each related child record.
